29 journalists face harassment across country in Jan-Feb

At least 29 journalists fell victim to harassment across country in the first two months of the current calendar year, according to a report by an independent rights body.

Of them, four received death threats over phone, the Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) report notes.

It also disclosed that 10 journalists were attacked and harassed by political parties.

Eight cases were filed against published news, the ASK data added.

207 journalists faced harassment in 2018, the report further reveals.
