At least 64 women were sexually harassed across the country alone in the first four months of the current calendar year, as per data by a local legal aid and human rights body.
The Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) report noted that, among them, eight committed suicide, 49 assaulted by stalkers and five injured during stalking related clashes.
The data also revealed that 116 women were sexually harassed in 2018.
Of them, eight committed suicide, three were murdered due to the protest and 97 were assaulted by stalkers.
