Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat returned home on Tuesday after visiting the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission Area.

During the visit, Chief of Air Staff inspected the Medal Parade of Bangladesh Air Force Contingents in Democratic Republic Congo as the Chief Guest and exchanged greetings with the members of the contingents, said a press release of Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR).

He also visited BAF contingent in Mali and exchanged greetings with the contingent members, reports UNB.

Besides, the Air Chief also exchanged views with military and civil UN high officials on United Nations Peacekeeping Mission.

It is expected that the visit would boost up the morale of peacekeeping members of Bangladesh in mission areas, help to enhance BAF relation with the UN and also open up new opportunities for future co-operation with UN.
