BGB recovers 1,162 bottles of phensidyl in Benapole

Boarder Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive recovered 1,162 bottles of contraband phensidyl from Putkhali boarder area under Benapole Port Thana of the district this morning.

On a tip-off, a BGB team conducted a raid in the area and recovered the phensidyl from a paddy field at Shikri village this morning, said Putkhali Camp Commander Subeder Abul Hossain.

Sensing their presence of the BGB team, the smugglers fled away.

A case was filed in this regard with Benapole Port Thana, reports BSS.
