The High Court reduced death sentences of three people to life term in a rape case of a health worker of BRAC in 2005.

Justice Bhabani Prasad Singha and Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam announced the verdict on Tuesday on hearing death references and convicts’ appeals.

The convicts are Md Shafi Alam, Md Kalu and Abul Hossain. Kalu is absconding while the rest are in prison, reports bdnews24.com.
