The Election Commission (EC) has sent the election materials, including nomination papers, to all districts.
The election materials reached the district election offices across the country on Thursday morning, said Election Commission Assistant Secretary Syed Golam Rashed.
Earlier, representatives of district election officers received the election materials from the BG Press, he said.
The electoral instruments include nomination papers, security books, code of conduct, symbolic posters and various forms, reports UNB.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda announced the schedule for the 11th parliamentary elections on Thursday evening, fixing December 23 as the voting day.
As per the rules, any candidate can get his nomination papers after the announcement of the schedule.
A total of 39 registered political parties will get the opportunity to participate in the upcoming national election.
