Local cautionary signal 3 at maritime ports

Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla, and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal no three.

Squally weather may affect the maritime ports, North Bay, and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh as deep convection is taking place over North Bay, said a special bulletin of Met office on Sunday, reports UNB.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been told to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
