Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is all set to announce the ICC Cricket World Cup squad on Tuesday.
The board will announce the squad at 12:30 pm at the BCB Press Conference Room, Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, reports UNB citing a release on Monday.
Also on Monday, BCB President Nazmul Hassan said the board is all set to announce the team for the upcoming World Cup within a couple of days.
Hours after Nazmul's comment, the official media release confirmed the date of the team announcement.
The forthcoming World Cup will take the place in England and Wales from May 30.
The Tigers will take the field for the first time on June 2 against South Africa at Kennington Oval, London.
Before the World Cup assault, Bangladesh will participate in a tri-nation series in Ireland along with the hosts and West Indies.
At the same time, they will also face India and Pakistan in the official warm-up matches prior to the World Cup.
The warm matches will be held on May 26 and 28 against Pakistan and India respectively. Both the matches will be held at Cardiff.
