The Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) has announced the names of selected teams for its inter-university business case competition.
Top 30 teams have been selected from the online round where a total of 202 teams participated from 34 different public and private universities.
The selected teams are: Blue Chip, Blue Chips, Capital Blue, Captive of Coins, Cash Cow, Citadel Blues, Dream Hoarders, Fantastic 4, Finance & Banking, Gringotts' Gobblins, Heaven Touch, Infinity, Investment Icon, Pirates, RIOTOUS, Team Activate, Team Blue Chips, Team Cardinal, Team Consensus, Team Derivatives, Team Equilibrium, Team Erutev, Team Goldman and Sacks, Team Leading, Team Shopnochura, Team Venture, The Arbitrageours, The Unicorns, Unpredictable and Youth Maestros.
Kashfia Sharmeen, a coordinator of the case competition, told the FE they are happy over a large number of participation in the competition.
She said the teams will now need to attend two separate workshops to be held at the BICM campus in the city.
The BICM along with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is organising the competition in an attempt to attract the young people to the local capital market.
It also aims to attract the young people to take the capital market as their career goals.
The first day-long workshop will take place on October 12 where the issues of the contest will be discussed.
The closing programme of the competition will take place at the Hotel Westin on October 16.
