Seminar on public administration held at JU

A seminar on 'The Evolution of Public Administration in Bangladesh as an Academic Study' was held on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Monday.

JU Public Administration department organised the seminar at Zahir Raihan auditorium of the campus at 12:00 noon.

Former member of Public Service Commission (PSC) and University Grand Commission (UGC) Dr Md Mohabbat Khan attended the programme as the special guest.

In his speech, Mohabbat Khan said students have to develop their skills in administration through their academic studies to serve the welfare of the country, reports UNB.

Chairman of Public Administration department, Dr Jebunnessa presided over the programme where former PSC member and founding chairman of JU Public Administration department Professor Dr M Abul Kashem Majumder and Dean of Social Science faculty Professor Rasheda Akhter addressed the function as special guest.

Over 200 teachers and students took part at the function.
