Bangladesh cricket’s most prolific opener Tamim Iqbal returned home on Friday as Evercare Hospital in Dhaka discharged him, considering his steady recovery after survival from a massive heart attack.
Tamim suffered a massive heart attack during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match at BKSP in Savar on March 24. He was initially taken to KPJ Hospital in Savar. He underwent a procedure to have a stent placed in his heart there.
The cricketer was transferred to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka for further observation on March 26.
