Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) exchanged greetings with Border Security Force (BSF) men along Hili border of Dinajpur district on Monday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, reports UNB.
The border forces of the two neighbouring countries also exchanged sweetmeat and other gifts on the occasion.
Md Altaf Hossian, company commander of BGB Hili check-post, said they handed over nine packets of sweetmeat to BSF while BSF gave them seven packets of sweetmeat at around 10:30 am.
Speaking on the occasion, BSF Hili camp company commander DS Sindh said, “Both BSF and BGB discharge the same responsibility. So, we always try to maintain amity and fraternity between us.”
