Boiler explosion kills Kushtia worker

Sabia Khatun (50), a worker of Daud Mandal Rice Mill, was killed when a boiler blasted with a big bang at the mill at Khwajanagar area of Kushtia on Sunday night

Witnesses said the boiler explosion, occurring around 8 pm, left three other workers wounded.

The injured workers were rushed to Kushta General Hospital.

Sabia was referred to Dhaka and later succumbed to burn injuries on her way to the capital, according to a local news agency.
