Detectives arrested a woman and her son allegedly along with 2,000 Yaba tablets from a village in Saturia upazila of Manikganj on Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Ayesha Begum, 48, and her son Sohagh Shikder, 25, hailing from Barishal district.
They had long been living at Bhatara village under the upazila and running Yaba business, police said, reports UNB.
Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of district Detective Branch of police, said a DB team raided their house in the early hours on a tip-offand arrested them with the Yaba pills.
