Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam has recovered from Covid-19.
Farid Uddin, APS of the mayor, confirmed the matter today, reports BSS citing a release.
Earlier on October 12, Mayor Atiqul Islam and his wife Dr Shaila Shagufta Islam tested positive for coronavirus.
Rishad Morshed, APS-2 of the mayor, also tested positive for the virus.
