iHealth to serve diabetic patients

iHealthScreen Bangladesh Limited, a local healthcare service provider, in collaboration with Diabetic Association of Bangladesh will offer services to diabetic patients in the country from the first week of February.

As part of the move, the iHealthScreen Bangladesh Ltd will inaugurate its state-of-the-art mobile screening bus to offer services to diabetic patients from February 06 at Sufia Kamal Auditorium at Shahbag in the capital.

This was disclosed at a press briefing at the National Press Club on Sunday in the capital.

Earlier, to provide health care services to diabetic patients iHealth Screen Bangladesh Ltd signed an agreement with Bangladesh Diabetic Association.

President of Bangladesh Diabetic Association Dr AK Azad Khan will inaugurate the services on February 06 as the chief guest.

CEO of iHealthScreen Inc, USA Dr Alauddin Bhuiyan at the press briefing said that iHealthScreen will offer different services including prevention of glaucoma disease to diabetic patients.

He mentioned that the services will be gradually expanded to all diabetic centres across the country.

There are around 7.5 million card-holder diabetic patients in the country.

Most of the patients are vulnerable to glaucoma disease and might face blindness if they do not take preventive measures at the early stage.

iHealthScreen Bangladesh Ltd with the support of iHealthScreen Inc, USA is working on cutting edge technology in the medical field and innovation.

It (iHealthScreen Bangladesh Ltd) has been operating in Bangladesh since 2017.

Their IT team has been working to integrate advanced technology in the fields of health and education.

General Secretary of Bangladesh Diabetic Association Md Saifuddin and Managing Director of iHealthScreen Bangladesh Ltd AKM Shohel were present at the press briefing.
