Islamic Foundation distributes books to over 74,000 educational institutions

The Islamic Foundation has distributed books to more than 74,000 educational institutions across the country.
The distribution was officially inaugurated by the Director General A Salam Khan at the Islamic Foundation’s Dhaka Divisional Office on Wednesday, UNB reports.
On the first day of the new year, books were given to students from 74,010 institutes under two major projects of the Islamic Foundation.
Of these, 73,000 educational institutions are part of the Mosque-based Children and Mass Education Programme, while the remaining 1,010 are part of the Darul Arkam Ebtedayi Madrasa Establishment and Management Project.
ASM Shafiul Alam Talukder, Project Director of the Mosque-Based Children and Mass Education Programme, and Md. Abdus Sabur, Project Director of the Darul Arkam Ibtedayi Madrasa and Management Project, were also present, along with other Islamic Foundation officials.
