Narsingdi road crash leaves four dead

At least four passengers were killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a bus in Sonamurir Tek area of Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Abul Kamal Azad, officer-in-charge of Narsingdi Police Station.

The accident took place around 7:30 am when the Chandpur-bound microbus from Sylhet via Dhaka collided with a Sylhet-bound bus of 'Mitali Paribahan', leaving three dead on the spot and injuring eight others, reports UNB.

The injured were taken to Narsingdi General Hospital from where two of them were referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

Among the injured, one died at the Narsingdi hospital.
