The BNP says it has got the conditional permission to hold its rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital Dhaka on Sunday.
Speaking at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan central office, party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said they will have to obey 23 conditions when holding the rally.
The party will hold the rally making November 7, which it every year observes as the ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is expected to attend the rally, which is the first for her since she spoke at a rally in front of the party’s central office on January 5 of this year.
