A group of senior BNP leaders led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is likely to meet Chairperson Khaleda Zia in jail on Wednesday.
The BNP leaders were permitted to meet the former prime minister at 3:00pm Wednesday in the old jailhouse on Nazimuddin Road, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, reports bdnews24.
Apart from Mirza Fakhrul, the delegation includes Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Moudud Ahmed, Jamiruddin Sircar, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, and Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.
Khaleda was sentenced to five years in jail in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case on Feb 8.
