Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of AHM Moazzem Hossain, editor of The Financial Express.
In a condolence message on Wednesday, the premier recalled with profound respect the contributions of Moazzem Hossain to the field of journalism, especially economic journalism, in the country.
A BSS report says, she also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
According to a FE report, Moazzem breathed his last on Wednesday evening at Square Hospital in Dhaka. He was 73.
