Four days after his return from Singapore and receiving medical treatment for over two months, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader is going to join office on Sunday.
Deputy principal information officer of Road Transport and Bridges Ministry Abu Naser on Saturday said the minster will attend two programmes on Sunday, reports UNB.
Quader will attend a meeting on the progress of development projects under the ministry and exchange views with journalists, he said.
Quader, also Awami League general secretary, returned home on Wednesday evening after receiving medical treatment in Singapore for over two months.
The minister had been admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital initially on March 3 following breathing complications. Tests revealed three blockages in his coronary artery. He was then flown to Singapore the next day for treatment.
The minister underwent a bypass surgery in Singapore on March 20.
