A young man was stabbed to death by miscreants in Ashulia's Jamgora area on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mamun Hossain, 22, son of Mozammel Hossain of Pirojpur village of Nagaon Sadar Upazila.
Rezaul Haque, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station, said miscreants attacked Mamun with sharp weapons and later dumped his body in Rupayan Field.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
The motive behind the murder and the identities of the killers could not be known yet, reports UNB.
