The 14th addition of corporate soccer cup will kick off Thursday to give corporate executives respite in their daily busy life.
With the participations of 54 corporate teams, around 540 players will play Ascent Corporate 5-a-side Soccer Cup this year.
The venue is at the Ascent Group's Scholastica Uttara Campus in Dhaka, the organisers announced at a press conference at Gulshan Club Tuesday.
The finals will be played on 3rd August.
The event was initiated in 2006 in order to boost morale and company loyalty by bringing employees together as a team. It provides a ground where corporate executives play soccer to form friendships in the corporate world, tightens team bonding and network amongst industry colleagues.
