BIDA opens booths for training in Khulna

The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has opened 12 mobile booths in different places in Khulna so that interested entrepreneurs can complete registration process for a training programme.

Khulna divisional commissioner Lokman Hossain Mia on Sunday inaugurated the registration activities and formal campaign at a booth which has been set up in front of the Collectorate Building in the city, reports BSS.

Deputy Commissioner of Khulna M Helal Hossain and Director of BIDA in Khulna Pronob Kumar Saha, were present, among others.

Describing the success of 10 special initiatives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina across the country, Lokman Hossain said, this training has been arranged to create entrepreneurs for flourishing investment, one of the special initiatives of Prime Minister.

Terming various government facilities for making investment friendly Bangladesh, BIDA Director Pronob Kumar said interested entrepreneurs will be given training programme after completing their registration from 12 mobile booths.

The registration activities will continue till August 31 from August 25, he said, adding that at least 375 entrepreneurs to get training into 15 batches in Khulna.
