A five-member jury committee will review a total of 70 films this year, he added.

The committee selected 48 short films and 22 documentary films for screening this year’s festival, reports BSS.

Of the selected films, ‘Best Film’ will get Tk 100,000, ‘Best Filmmaker’ will get Tk 50,000 and ‘special jury award’ will receive prize money of Tk 25,000 for both short films and documentary films.

Announcement of the awardees will be declared on the concluding day of the festival on December 15.
