Carlo Ancelotti deserves all the praise for Real Madrid's league triumph

With a 4-0 win over Espanyol, Real Madrid have clinched their 35th La Liga Title. The manager, Carlo Ancelotti has also been part of a phenomenal record. He has become the only manager to win all of the top 5 leagues of European Football.

Ancelotti came back to Real leaving Everton when things were not going well for the club with Zinedine Zidane leaving the club. He has shown incredible consistency in winning the league title, which brings an end to the popular rhetoric about Ancelotti that the teams he manages get through a bad patch in the second half of the league.

Ancelotti more or less went on with the same squad as Zidane, with two vital signings of David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga.

David Alaba's last season for Bayern Munich didn’t ensure that he will be vital for the Los Blancos, but despite a few bad performances, he has been exactly that.

Eduardo Camavinga has also been crucial for Real Madrid in a few matches, but credit has to go to Carlo for extracting the best out of the almost identical squad as his previous manager.

He has also been criticised for not having a fixed system like Pep Guardiola, Erik Ten Haag and others. But despite this criticism, his team have shown an unmatched level of tenacity and consistency, much of which is due to their never give up mentality, something which was missing from the squad before Carlo took over the helm.

Carlo's team went through a few bad patches as well, a 4-0 loss to Barcelona, a club that has been going through a rebuilding phase, could have hurt the morale of the team in the long run and could have affected their performance in the following games.

But it didn’t happen as Real Madrid secured the league title with a few matches to spare and are very much in the race for the Champions League.

In terms of player management, Carlo has done an excellent job. Vinicius Junior was the player who was at the butt of all jokes last season due to his constant misses in front of the goal. This season, however, he has scored 14 times in the league with 9 assists, along with a lot of stellar performances which makes him one of the best players in the league.

This has been largely possible due to Carlo's special guidance towards Vinicius from the beginning of the season, which speaks volumes about his man-management skills.

Ancelotti deserves all the praise he is getting for pulling off this feat with a Real Madrid squad that was disoriented and lost at the beginning of the season due to a lot of factors. He will certainly go down as one of the greatest managers of all time.
