Police arrested 15 persons including two drug traders from different areas of the district in last 12-hour.
Police conducted special drives that ended at 8am on Friday morning.
Law enforcers also recovered 200 bottles of Phensidyl and 198 pieces of Yaba tablets during the drives.
Police said they were picked up from different areas of the district.
During the drives, Dinajpur Sadar police arrested five persons including two drug traders with 198 pieces of Yaba tablets form Suihari around 10:30pm of the upazila, Birganj Thana police arrested two persons, Birampur Thana police arrested two persons, Khansama Thana police arrested three persons and Chirirbandar Thana police arrested three persons.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with different police stations against the arrested persons, the sources added.
Meanwhile, members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive detained three alleged drug traders with a private car and recovered 200 bottles of Phensidyl after searching the private car from Hili Chowrasta Moor around 6am in Hakimpur upazila of the district, reports UNB.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the Hakimpur Thana police,BGB said.
The arrested people were sent to jail.
