Eastern University starts online classes

Due to coronavirus situation, Eastern University has begun started taking online classes for the students, says a press release.

Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain, vice chancellor of Eastern University, said that according to the direction of University Grant Commission,  the authorities of his institution has decided to continue online teaching, adding: “In this way, we can utilise valuable human-hours of our dedicated faculty members as well as the students.”

Shahid Akhtar Hossain said when the situation will be normal, review/ compensation classes may be conducted by the faculty members.
