In a bid to encourage e-commerce during the ongoing lockdown, the government has allowed such platforms to continue their delivery services across the country until midnight.
E-commerce deliverymen can normally move around from 6:00am to 12:00am for the delivery purposes, the commerce ministry said in a notification issued on Tuesday.
Earlier, the government allowed e-commerce platforms only until 6:00pm from 6:00am to continue their delivery services during the seven-day lockdown that started on Monday.
