Japan's TOTO opens new outlet, technical centre in city

World's leading sanitary ware manufacturer TOTO, along with its sole distributor in Bangladesh Tilottoma Bangla Group, launched a new showroom in the capital recently.

Japan Ambassador Hireyasu Izumi on Sunday inaugurated the outlet and technical centre as chief guest at Gulshan's Genetic Baro Bhuiyan Tower, says a press release.

Tilottoma CEO Shahriar Sajjad gave the welcome address during the inaugural ceremony, with its chairman Joardar Nowsher Ali in the chair.

Daisuke Endo, division head of TOTO Asia Ocenia; professor Shamsul Wares, dean (School of Science & Technology) & head of Department of Architecture at State University of Bangladesh; Kazi Golam Nasir, chief architect of Department of Architecture under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works; architect Ehsan Khan, vice president, IR, IAB; and Alamgir Shamsul Alamin, president, REHAB joined the event as special guests.

People can get world class and latest eco-friendly tiles, sanitary wares and home decor items with great design, technology and services from the new outlet, added the statement.
