Killing in a US night club

Published :

Updated :

A dastardly gun attack on a gay nightclub in Orland, Florida, USA on Saturday left 50 people dead. The attack was unleashed allegedly by a gunman named Omar Mateen, a US-born citizen of Afghan origin. It was the deadliest ever shooting incident in the US history. It is suspected to be one of those acts of religious extremism perpetrated by wrong-headed fanatics who tend to believe that killing of the religious adversaries ensure their supremacy and establish peace in society. As a matter of fact, no religion approves of killings of any kind to spread its ideologies. It is only through love and peace that we can win the hearts of the people and attract them towards us. We must remember that darkness cannot drive away darkness, only light can do so. We should spread the message of peace and love  and make our world a better place to live for our future generations.
