Notre Dame College wins first ever robotics competition

The first-ever robotics competition for college students ended recently, where Notre Dame College won the champion trophy.

The competition took place at the new campus of United International University (UIU), organized by Japanese education company Venturas Ltd, supported by Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Embassy of Japan, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and ICT Ministry.

 Mustafa Jabbar, Minister of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology, was present as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Kazi Aminul Islam, Executive Chairman, BIDA chaired the event.

Professor Doctor Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, United International University and Kazuaki Nakamura, CEO and Founder, Viling Group and Mr. Daisuke Arai, Country Head of JETRO and Mahabub Azam, Managing Director were also present as special guests, said a statement.

 Dhaka Residential Model College and Govt. Science College won as 1st runner up and 2nd runner up respectively.

Prof. Dr. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, Vice chancellor, United International University and Minhaz Uddin Anwar, Grameenphone Accelerator Program handed over the prize to the winning teams of the competition.
