RMCH to get five more departments soon

Five new more departments are going to be added to the Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) for boosting its services.

The new departments are: Casualty, Endocrine Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Surgical Oncology.

Prof Dr Nawshad Ali, principal of Rajshahi Medical College, told journalists that an associate professor and an assistant professor will be appointed to each of the departments as soon as possible. The ministry of health and family welfare has already allocated the departments and posts, reports BSS.

Prof Ali says the new departments will open up a new door of expanding medical education and services in Rajshahi.
