Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) is all set to hold its second convocation on Wednesday.
President Abdul Hamid, also the Chancellor of university, is scheduled to inaugurate the programme where 3,000 graduates will participate.
The academic, administrative buildings, dormitories and important roads on the campus were decorated with lights for the convocation.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will attend the programme as special guest while Emeritus Prof Dr AK Azad Chowdhury will deliver his speech as the convocation speaker, reports UNB.
This year, some 1,968 students will receive their graduation certificates, 951 post graduation and nine PhD degrees.
Earlier, the registration for the convocation started on December 3 last and concluded on December 30.
Sixty three graduates will be awarded with Chancellor Gold Medals.
