Six BD missions abroad to get new heads

The government has decided to appoint new heads of missions in six Bangladesh missions abroad.

According to the latest reshuffle, Nur Helal Saifur Rahman, presently Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, has been transferred to South Africa.

Shumona Iqbal, Director General (Regional Organisation), has been appointed as the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Brunei.

Tareq Muhammad Ariful Islam, currently Deputy Permanent Representative in UN, will be the new Bangladesh High Commissioner to Sri Lanka.

Touhedul Islam, now Consul General in Kunming, will be Bangladesh High Commissioner to Singapore.

Air Vice Marshal Md Mustafizur Rahman will be the new Bangladesh Ambassador to Indonesia.

And Salahuddin Noman, DG of Foreign ministry, is going to be the Bangladesh High Commissioner in Nepal.

According to foreign ministry sources, official notification in this regard will be issued shortly.
