Police recovered the slaughtered body of a young man from Hili in Hakimpur upazila on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Mithun, 27, son of Shahadat Hossain, a resident of Chandipur village.
Locals spotted the body around 8pm and informed police, reports UNB.
Police later recovered the body, said Abdur Sabur, officer-in-charge of Hakimpur Police Station.
