Monthly outstanding treasury bonds, held by the non-resident investors, have been unchanged since March this year.
The latest statistics of the central bank showed that the value of outstanding treasury bonds, held by the non-resident investors, stood at Tk 430 million at the end of July this year.
The value was same at the end of the month of March, April, May and June.
This reflects the lower interest of the non-resident investors for the Bangladeshi treasury bonds.
Central bank data also showed that holding of outstanding t-bonds dropped sharply in August last to Tk 1714.70 million from Tk 2,954.40 million in July last year.
Since then, it started to decline gradually and reached at Tk430.0 million by the end of March this year. The amount remained unchanged for the next four months.
