Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Monday said legal action will be taken against those who have breached party discipline.
“Not only organisational action but administrative and legal actions will be taken for breaching party discipline,” he said while talking to reporters after a views-exchange meeting at BRTC conference room.
“Those who are involved in corruption, misdeeds won’t be spared, no matter how powerful they are. The Prime Minister has adopted a zero-tolerance policy in this regard,” said Quader, UNB reported.
The Prime Minister is receiving allegations about leaders and activists from her own cell and investigations are going on into the allegations, he said.
