The press conference of Jatiya Oikya Front Chief Dr Kamal Hossain scheduled for Thursday was postponed as he is sick.
"Sir (Kamal) is not physically well today (Thursday). So, the scheduled press conference has been postponed," said Oikyafront's coordination committee member Jahangir Alam Mintu.
He said Dr Kamal is expected to hold a press conference at 3pm on Friday at Oikyafront's Puratan Paltan office, according to UNB.
Oikyafront insiders said Dr Kamal is likely to talk about the overall election atmosphere, attacks on the alliance candidates, arrest of opposition leaders and activists, annulment of candidature of its some candidates by the court and the current role of the Election Commission and police in the election.
