A Dhaka court has granted a four-day remand to interrogate Bangladesh Kalyan Party secretary general MM Aminur Rahman in a violence case.
Aminur went missing from Nayapaltan area of Dhaka on August 27 last.
Later, detectives arrested him from near 'Suvastu Tower' on Friday night.
Police produced Aminur before a Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court on Saturday.
Investigation officer of the case Inspector Md Jehad Hossain sought a 10-day remand for interrogation.
Magistrate Debobrata Biswas granted a four-day remand and rejected the bail petition filed by Aminur's lawyer Abdur Rauf.
According to bdnews24, Aminur was shown a suspect in a case filed for cocktail bomb attack on a rally of Awami Mukti Jodha Parisad led by Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan on December 16, 2015, to block BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's office in Gulshan.
