Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad will return home from Singapore on Wednesday, just three days before the national election.
"Our chairman was scheduled to return home tomorrow (Monday), but it was rescheduled for some unavoidable reasons," Jatiya Party presidium member SM Faisal Chisti told UNB on Sunday night.
As per the revised schedule, he said, Ershad will return on Wednesday.
Chisti said Ershad's physical condition has improved, but still he is undergoing treatment. "Hope, he'll recover fully soon."
Ershad is contesting the 11th parliamentary elections from Dhaka-17 and Rangpur-3 seats, but he could not carry out any election campaign as he has been there in Singapore for nearly two weeks.
On December 10, Ershad went to Singapore for receiving treatment as was suffering from serious pain in his knees and some other complications.
