Awami League candidate for Dhaka-3 constituency Nasrul Hamid Bipu has visited his opponent BNP candidate Gayeshwar Chandra Roy who sustained injuries in an attack during electioneering on Tuesday in Keraniganj.
Nasrul Hamid, also the State Minister for Power and Energy, went to Gayeshwar's office in city's Nayapaltan area around 11:30am on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Earlier on Tuesday, BNP leader Gayeshwar Chandra Roy and 24 other BNP leaders and activists sustained injured in an attack reportedly carried out by ruling party men during electioneering at Chunkutia in South Keraniganj.
