Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Wednesday visited National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) in the city to see child Anchiya, who was injured in a fatal road accident.
Quader inquired about her treatment and talked to her doctors and family members, said an official handout here, adding the minister took all responsibilities of the medical treatment of Anchiya.
Anchiya was injured in a road accident that killed her mother and a relative at Bhanga in Faridpur district on August 21.
The minister also took the responsibility of the treatment of Azgar Ali , an owner of a small business, who was injured in a road accident in Chattogram, reports BSS.
Besides, the minister visited ailing mother of Kabirhat Pourasabha mayor Alabox Taher Titu and Kabirhat upazila’s Batiya union former chairman Md Abdullha at NITOR.
