MBL, AIBL mutual funds declare dividend

The trustee boards of two closed-end mutual funds -- MBL 1st Mutual Fund and AIBL 1st Islamic Mutual Fund, managed by LR Global BD Asset Management -- have declared dividends for the year ended on March 31, 2021.

MBL 1st Mutual Fund: The trustee board of the Fund has declared 11.50 per cent cash dividend based on the net profit and retained earnings for the year ended on March 31, 2021.

The record date for entitlement of the cash dividend is on May 31, the mutual fund said in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday.

The fund has also reported earnings per unit (EPU) at Tk 1.95, net asset value (NAV) per unit at Tk 11.17 (on the basis of cost price) and at Tk 11.89 (on the basis of market price) and net operating cash flow per unit (NOCFPU) at Tk 0.59 for the year ended on March 31, 2021 as against minus Tk 0.97, Tk 9.48, Tk 9.22 and Tk 0.98 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

Each unit of the fund, which was listed on the DSE in 2011, closed at Tk 9.30 on Thursday, soaring 5.68 per cent over the previous day.

AIBL 1st Mutual Fund: The Trustee Board of the Fund has declared 12.25 per cent cash dividend based on the net profit and retained earnings for the year ended on March 31, 2021.

The record date for entitlement of the cash dividend is on May 31, the mutual fund said in a filing with the DSE on Thursday.

The fund has also reported earnings per unit (EPU) at Tk 1.83, net asset value (NAV) per unit at Tk 11.24 (on the basis of cost price) and at Tk 11.57 (on the basis of market price) and net operating cash flow per unit (NOCFPU) at Tk 0.42 for the year ended on March 31, 2021 as against minus Tk 0.62, Tk 10.11, Tk 9.41 and Tk 1.30 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

Each unit of the fund, which was listed on the DSE in 2011, closed at Tk 10.60 on Thursday, soaring 9.28 per cent over the previous day.
