MTB launches Islamic banking  

The Islamic Banking Window of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), MTB Yaqeen was officially inaugurated on Wednesday, says a media release.

The launching programme was held at a virtual meeting in the presence of their Board of Directors including Independent Director and Chairman, MTB Board Audit Committee, Nasreen Sattar, Managing Director and CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman, AMD and CBO Syed Rafiqul Haq, AMD and GCRO Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, DMD  and GHICC Goutam Prosad Das, DMD and COO Tarek Reaz Khan, DMD and CAMLCO Rais Uddin Ahmad, Head of Islamic Banking Md Afzalul Islam and Head of Communications Azam Khan.

MTB Shariah Supervisory Committee Chairman Sheikh Kamaluddin Abdullah Zafree and Member Shah Wali Ullah were also present.

The launching programme was also attended by Dr Sofiza Azmi, Managing Director of Cambridge Financial Advisory Limited and  Mahmud Hossain, MD and CEO of Millennium Information Solution Limited who are the Islamic Banking System provider to MTB.
