Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) is going to introduce a new internationally recognised accreditation guideline for giving certificates to the interested local and multinational companies.
The information came on Tuesday from an inauguration function of the “BAB Assessor Refresher Course” at the Industries Ministry Conference room in Dhaka city, said a press release.
BAB Director General M Monowarul Islam attended the function as the chief guest while senior officials of the accreditation board were present.
Monowarul Islam said BAB is working sincerely to build a world standard system in Bangladesh, reports BSS.
The accreditation board has already accelerated the accreditation related activities following the guidelines of the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), he added.
