Sheikh F. Fahim, Senior Vice President of FBCCI attended the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2019’ held at Gujarat, India.
The three day Summit (18-20 January, 2019) was organised by Gujarat Provincial Government.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Summit on 18 January.
Sheikh F. Fahim led a five-member Bangladesh business delegation.
Prime Ministers from 5 countries and Ministers from 15 different countries attended the inaugural ceremony.
Representatives from 20 national chambers from SAARC , ASEAN , EU , Australia and Africa attended the Summit.
Sheikh F. Fahim, Senior Vice President of FBCCI had a presentation on ‘Political -Economic Development of Bangladesh 2009-2018 and Vision 2041 of FBCCI ’ on the third day of the programme.
In his presentation, the private sector leader of Bangladesh highlighted the significant transformation of Bangladesh into a technology and knowledge-based economy with over 7.68 per cent GDP growth.
Mr Sheikh Fahim also mentioned about the mega development projects of the country which are being implemented for creating an enabling investment environment and developing an efficient industrial eco system.
