Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) inked an agreement with APON Foundation to help the underprivileged street and working children to open their own bank accounts with MTB.
Tarek Reaz Khan, head of SME and retail banking of the MTB, and M Aftabuzzaman, executive director of APON Foundation, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The MTB and the APON Foundation signed the deal at MTB Tower in Bangla Motor area of Dhaka, said a media release.
Md Abul Bashar, general manager (Financial Inclusion Department) of Bangladesh Bank, Syed Rafiqul Haq, deputy managing director and Chief Business Officer (CBO) of the BB, Swapan Kumar Biswas, SEVP and head of Banking Operations Division (BOD) & CAMLCO of MTB along with other senior officials were also present at the occasion.
