Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) and mobile financial service provider, bKash Limited have recently signed an agreement allowing fund transfer by customers from MTB accounts to bKash accounts and vice versa.
Under the agreement, bKash customers will also be able to withdraw cash from any of the MTB ATMs across the country and MTB credit cardholders will be able pay their credit card bills using bKash account, according to a media release received today (Saturday).
Kamal Quadir, Chief Executive Officer of bKash Limited and Anis A Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a simple ceremony held at MTB Centre, the bank’s Corporate Head Office at Gulshan 1, Dhaka.
Syed Rafiqul Haq, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer (CBO), Tarek Reaz Khan, Head of SME and Retail Banking, Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Head of Cards, Irfan Islam, Head of Cash Management and Privilege Banking and Azam Khan, Group Chief Communications Officer of MTB and Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer, Moinuddin Mohammed Rahgir, Chief Financial Officer and Md Zafrul Hasan, Head of Enterprise Project Management of bKash were also present at the occasion.
